Short answer - Yes!

These cookies - Brown Butter Toffee Chocolate Chip - could be the best cookies I have ever made. It is one of those things where the stars aligned and the gods smiled down.
I'm not sure whether it was the exact correct timing of the milk solids caramelizing to make that browned butter taste so heavenly. There was almost a lucky charms quality to the flavour said one taste-tester. I will take that as a compliment!
It could have been the fleur de sel sprinkled on top. Though, in my mind, I could have sprinkled on more. The other changes I would have liked would have been homemade toffee (I just used skor bits) and chunky chocolate chips instead of the classic ones that I used. But in this economy, chocolate is a luxury so I'll keep those chocolate chunks for the very special occasions.
All in all, these cookies turned out so good and much better than I could have anticipated. Please try this at home and let me know how you like the recipe. I hope you get as good of results as me!

This is a good recipe if you don't have a mixer to use. You don't have to cream the butter and sugars but just be careful to let the brown butter cool before adding the eggs and flour. Also don't skip the fleur de sel. It's a game changer and salt enhances the flavour of what it is seasoning. Trust me, it won't taste too salty. The sweetness of the chocolate and the toffee will hold their own against it.
